This is a place where users can communicate with administrators, or administrators with one another. You can report vandalism, problematic users, or anything else that needs an administrator's intervention. Do not report child pornography or other potentially illegal content here; e-mail legal-reportswikimedia.org instead. If reporting threatened harm to self or others also email emergencywikimedia.org.

Requests for page protection/unprotection could also be requested here.	Other reports that require administrator assistance which do not fit in any of the previous three noticeboards may be reported here. Requests for history merging or splitting should be filed at COM:HMS.

It's a borderline case. Adding a bit more of info to category pages is not really vandalism. On the other hand, it reminds of User:David Adam Kess. --Achim55 (talk) 17:13, 30 October 2025 (UTC)

I'm not sure about this case, but some of their edits add unnecessary descriptions to the file page, for example. In additional, CVN also suggesting that it might be a sock (On blacklist added by Yann (expiry): Autoblacklist: Abusing multiple accounts on commons.wikimedia), so that's why I reported. It's not just the descriptions, also nonsensic categorization, e.g. creation of Category:Boulevards in Quito by city, which he added to Category:Boulevards by country, and then he added every single file from Category:Bulevar 24 de Mayo, Quito to Category:Boulevards in Ecuador. This user hasn't understood categories in many years, and yes, this certainly is the well-known behaviour of User:David Adam Kess. How much time will I still have to spend with this?
