Speedy category move (October 2025)

Hi Yann! It's been 19 days since I've placed two category move requests at User:CommonsDelinker/commands (to move Category:Indian Space Research Organisation and Category:People associated with the Indian Space Research Organisation), but these categories haven't been moved as of now. Deletion of File:Graffiti Tel Aviv, Khayim Ben Atar St - zoom.jpg

Hi. I believe you are responsible for the deletion of this image. Could you please undelete this. The image was derived from this image, which I believe it attributed and made clear. So suspicions of it being a copyright violation were unfounded. It is also, as the source image explains, not copyrightable under Israeli copyright statute (2007).

@Matrix: If you look at the block log, you can see that it was justified. That was 2 years ago, so the issue may not exist now. So I removed the block. Let's see how it goes. I believe you are responsible for deleting this image. Could you please restore it? The image is part of an image from a meeting in Austria in 2007 which I believe is clearly stated. Not all the recording belong to the BBC. I recorded some myself with the individual broadcasters when I worked with them. Some are from discs belonging to the broadcasters who were presented with them. Leonard9ca (talk) 16:46, 25 October 2025 (UTC)

Do you have any idea what was the nature of the evidence for a license for File:Washington State Treasurer Mike Pellicciotti.jpg? Using the Wayback Machine, I don't find any evidence at https://web.archive.org/web/20210926031915/https://www.tre.wa.gov/about-us/treasurers-bio or https://web.archive.org/web/20211103233509/https://www.tre.wa.gov/about-us/treasurers-bio/. Admittedly, both are flawed copies of the page, but I can find nothing at either about a CC license, and I've almost never seen one on the site of a Washington State agency. Or the page didn't exist, given that it is not the page cited as source. I imagine there wouldn't be any chance someone would get in trouble for using this, but the precautionary principle asks for more than that. Copyright issues.

Hello @Yann. Thanks for the message earlier on today. Looks like you are jumping the gun though. Let's break it down 1) The image entitled large class pedagogy is a book cover. I mailed the lead editor and got the following reply

I do have permission to upload the cover.

2) The public protector logo already exists on Wikipedia. How can I be violating copyright when it sits on Wikipedia already See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Public_Protector and en:File:Public_Protector_logo.svg I have not expressed this correctly then lets address that.
