Title
"Cry-Baby"
Description
English: A good example of an early jazz work, this 'Jazz Fox Trot" was one of two fox trot collaborations by Tom Brown, this one with Ernie Erdman, the other was "That Moaning Saxophone" with Harry Cook. Tom Brown (1881-1950) was a Canadian clarinetist and saxophonist who performed in vaudeville and on Broadway and was leader of a band formed with five of his brothers and others called the Six Brown Brothers. Ernie Erdman (1879-1946) was a pianist, songwriter and composer based in Chicago who wrote a number of hit songs including "Toot Toot Tootsie Goodbye". This score was published by Brown & Erdman in New York City in 1918. This is a reproduction of the original score.
